Risk of Loss

All items purchased from All About Doors and Windows are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Sales and Use Tax

All About Doors & Windows is committed to complying with all applicable sales and use taxes. Customers are responsible for complying with sales and use taxes in their individual states. See below for notices applying to specific states.

Georgia: Sales or use tax may be due to the State of Georgia on this purchase. Georgia law requires certain consumers to file a sales and use tax return remitting any unpaid taxes due to the State of Georgia.

Oklahoma: This notice is to inform purchasers intending to purchase tangible personal property for delivery to a location within Oklahoma that sales or use tax may be due on the purchase and that Oklahoma requires the purchaser to file a return if use tax is due in connection with the purchase and delivery. In the event that sales and use tax is not collected by us (the remote seller) taxes may be due. You can obtain additional information by contacting the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

Rhode Island: This notice is to inform Rhode Island customers that sales or use tax is due on certain purchases made from All About Doors & Windows and that Rhode Island requires the in-state customer to file a sales or use tax return.

Washington: This notice (required by law) is to inform Washington customers that sales or use tax is due on certain purchases; allaboutdoors.com may or may not collect tax; Washington purchasers may have to file a use tax return with the Department. The instructions for obtaining additional information from the department regarding whether and how to remit the sales or use tax to the department can be found by contacting the department. If we, the seller, do not collect retail sales tax on a subsequent purchase by you, the Washington purchaser, we may be required to provide information to the purchaser and the department about the purchaser’s potential sales or use tax liability.
