Weiserbolt by Weiser Lock - Spring latch becomes a deadbolt latch
Latch Type: Combination Spring latch and Deadbolt
Latch has a standard 1/2 inch throw spring latch that becomes a deadbolt by an additional turn of the key;
Backset: 2-3/4 inch
Square Face Plate
Provides Deadbolt Security when door has only one hole drilled.
Finish/ Color: brass finish.
NOTE:
Weiser had an early model Weiserbolt that was a spring latch with a bevel , when extended became a deadbolt
The current model is a deadbolt that is spring loaded and becomes rigid when extended
As far as I know both can be used for inswing or outswing doors
The old style was 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 ( Line Drawing)
The new style latch is adjustable for both backsets ( color Pictures)
The latch can be inverted on the old or new style to change handing
