This is a Discontinued Fuhr 3-point, Automatic multipoint lock; Tongue Version
It featured two Tongue Latches, one Deadbolt and an Automatic Release Roller
The Tongue Latches automatically engage when the door closes.
Discontinued Lock Measurements:
Backset: 1-3/4 inches (45 mm)
Faceplate Width: 16 mm
Deadbolt Throw: 1/2 - 1 inch (14 - 24.5 mm),
Handle to Cylinder Spacing (PZ): 3-5/8 inches (92 mm),
Handle Height: 36 inches (914 mm)
Bottom Tongue position: 29 1/2 inches (753 mm)
Top Tongue position: 33 1/2 inches ( 846 mm)
Overall Length: 78 inches tall
Note: This Multi-Point lock can be trimmed from 75-78 inch height doors
Note:
Converting from an automatic to manual version is the easiest replacement for this Discontinued Lock.
It will require the least amount of technical skill and work.
Just like the original lock, this lock can be trimmed down to fit shorter doors.
