This is a diecast locking handle with a chrome finish used as a compartment lock and handle. 
It is non-handed--fits on both right and left-handed doors. 
It features a hardened steel shaft.
The 5/16 inch square spindle is 4 inches long. 
The centers of the mounting screw holes are 1-3/4 inches apart.
