The multipoint lock is a receiver for the 3 hooks on strike, a flat bar sides up and down to lock hooks in place.

There is not a good, simple replacement. I've looked at what I think are the 2 best choices and both require some modifications to the door. The Seljan I have on parts board has the following specs With either Lock Replacement you will have to purchase another handset, yours will not work The route in the door is the biggest consideration, especially on Vinyl

Hooks: 21-1/4 Inch Center of hooks Spindle: 7 mm Route in Door: Euro Groove - SAME NOTE: The Hoppe Replacement has the Key ABOVE the handle. The lock will have to be centered so when the Hoppe handle is installed it covers any holes from the Seljan handle.The Hoppe has 30 inch length faceplate and will not cover the groove in door. The Seljan has a square end and the other two are radius -If I was doing the install I would cut the ends square on the new lock and cut material from the old lock to fill in the voids and give it a finished look.
