Adjustable Handle Height

Combine top extension and bottom extension with gear for complete lock. Top extensions can be used as bottom extensions. Use cover plates to cover seam between gear and each extension. See Related Items below for extensions to achieve your desired handle height, screws, and cover plates.

 

Specifications:

  • Faceplate Width:  16mm (5/8 inch)
  • Lock Backset:  1.77 (45mm)

  • Gear Type:  Gear with partial extensions; no shootbolts attached.

     

No latch hole for spring latch – The metal flat bar travels about 1 inch. With the bolt locked, the bar travels upward. When unlocked, it travels down toward the deadbolt about 1 inch.

The maximum depth to cut for a latch would be the thickness of the metal faceplate 1/16th inch. Therefore, this lock requires an astragal between door panels.
