The privacy latch will work for Passage or Privacy doors when eliminating the Privacy Pin, install provided brass screw when using as passage.
The Privacy function has an anti-lock feature.
Depressing the latch bolt by strike when door is closing, or operating the inside Knob/Lever unlocks the latch.
Push in Privacy Pin to lock
Backset is measured from the face of the latch to the center of the Spindle Hub.
T-Type strike plate is standard, Other strikes available at an additional charge
