The Tongue version will work with lever/lever handles and with the grip handlesets.
The triple latch version will only work with lever/lever handles and will not work with the grip/teacup handle sets.

Function:
Baby sitter type locking device. Close door and turn key or thumb turn to engage tongues and deadbolts, it is not necessary to lift handle to lock door.
