This lock is designed to use a pair of shoot bolts, however, it can be installed and used with or without the shoot bolts.
The deadbolt and shoot bolt extensions operate independently.
An anti-slam device prevents the potential for door frame damage.
Utilizes a "peg-hole" connection system to make the installation process quick and easy.
Shoot-bolt Options:
4440201 (for 77" door)
4440203 (for 80" door)
4440205 (for 93" door)
Note: This is a non-handed lock. Meaning that the Spring Latch can be reversed to accommodate left or right-hand doors.

How to Operate the Lock:
To latch the top & Bottom Shootbolts (vertical throw bolts) lift the handle, then to engage the deadbolt and lock the door, rotate the thumb turn or key.
Reverse process to unlock the door.
Change Handing:
1. Insert screwdriver into the slot behind the latch
2. Pull down on handing release, latch pops out
3. Rotate latch and push back into the lock case
ALWAYS Check the Function of the lock before closing the door
Note: This lock has a second design that was almost identical to the original XP 25.
Their measurements are the same but their construction is slightly different.
The second design has radius / rounded ends.
One of the ends swivels a full 360 degrees on a pivot.
The Deadbolts are beveled slightly differently but other than that they are the same.
With the Shootbolt Extensions applied, this lock is adjustable and will fit on a variety of door sizes.
The Old Style and New style are Interchangeable
