Certainteed plastic pivot lock shoe used with coil balance spring and cover.
Certainteed had 4 generations of this shoe, all are interchangeable.
The new style has a metal cam and protruding tabs on both sides of pivot block.
New style may have a larger hole than previous shoe with plastic cam.

Removing & Installation of Pivot Lock shoe:
The pivot lock shoe fits tight in the side jamb, a slight twist from back to front on one side will generally get the shoe out. Reverse the process when installing.
If the Shoe slides hard in the channel, remove the 4 protruding tabs with toe nail clippers, then reinstall.
