No holes in latch for screws. Installation screw holes from lock are vertical (up and down).

Spindle Diameter: 5/16 inch (8 mm) square spindle
Faceplate: 1 inch x 2-1/4 inch Radius corner

When ordering latch, specify faceplate color if needed, some latches have removable faceplates.

Note: If your lock has a pushbutton on the rosette, this latch will not have a place for the button.
The button works for privacy locks like a bathroom or bath.
