Replaces Schlage A199 extension, used with 2-3/8" A-Series Latch to make 5 inch backset. Works with A-Series Knobs or AL-Series Levers. The easy-to-install extension is made to fit a 2-3/8 inch latch and convert to 5 inch backset.
NOTE: Schlage has C & D series Heavy Duty locks. This only works on the A-Series.
Other backset extensions can be added to these locks to make 5, 7, 10 inch and other backsets
