some locks had a round connection on the slide bar and some were rectangular, they are NOT interchangeable.
The replacement has a round connection.
If you have the Rectangular one, this will not work
There were several variances of this style of lock
This is the lock body only, extensions or other parts are not included.
Special Handle spacing: 2-5/8 inch (68 mm)
Backset : 2-5/32 inch / 2.165 inch (55 mm).
Lock body: 2-3/4 inches deep x 7-5/8 inches tall.
Markings: 24713 Stamped in Lock case
