This tilt latch is to be placed on the top edge of the lower sash in conjunction with the Peachtree Ariel tilt double hung window sash tilt latch kit in driftwood. 
Remove the wood sash liner to access the housings at the top of the bottom sash.
Reuse any existing retaining screws when replacing the housing or flip lever parts.
